Listen to my job!

I just did a search and found this website. If you go to www.LiveATC.net and click on the link "LiveATC Coverage Map" and click on GA three times to magnify it and then click on the link "listen live - KATL Approach-Center" on the Atlanta Icon you can zoom in on the ATL airport and listen to what goes on when I am working. Kind of interesting but kind of boring at the same time. Play around with the website. Very interesting. You can listen to captured radio conversations like the US Air flight that went into the Hudson, the Continental flight that crashed in icing in Buffalo and other inflight emergencies. www.atcmonitor.com does the same thing.

I tried, I can't hear anything. Maybe because I am oversees?

I listened to SLC ATC just fine.
It's kind of like reading the phone book.

Like I said, interesting but boring. Exciting yet drab. Okay...just boring and drab, but that is what I do.

Dad was surprised when he came home to hear it. I love to listen to those things, it is interesting to Dad and me. Remember that I had a radio to listen to the Topeka airport? Maybe Teresa tried to listen when it was still the middle of the night in the US. Thanks Brian.

Funny, we never had live feeds from the airport that we drew on our desk in our room when we lived on Kent Place in Topeka. Alan or Brian remember that?

No, I do not. Tell me more...what did we do? Maybe an email to me would be better so we don't bore others.

I don't remember that either, and if it really did happen, I wish you would have kept it to yourself. :)
