Mom's Weekly Message

Dear Children,
This week has been relatively calm. Dad has not had any long trips and it has been more relaxing for him. He has had to find out what kind of heat is in each apartment and it takes a while to do it especially when missionaries do not have any clue of what the difference is between electric heating, hot water heating and gas heating.
We celebrated his birthday by dining in a Mexican restaurant where President Woodland and his wife invited us. It was lovely. Dad also got a new suit for his birthday.
Dad just said that we have 44 days left. (He counts but I don't). We now know who is going to replace us. It is a couple that is now serving a mission in the Netherlands and they will finish their mission at the end of July. By then, President hopes to have an office couple located.
Teresa and her family are coming to eat with us tomorrow and Françoise arrives next week to visit us for a few days.
Today, we went to look at a car to compare to the one we saw on the Internet. Dad likes the Volvo S80 but even used it may be too expensive for us. We are still trying to find a comfortable car that we will be able to afford. If you have any good ideas, pass them on.

You are great and I love you.

Mom

We have a 1993 Ford Taurus that I believe will fit your budget. I will pay you $200 to take it off our hands!

Again, I recommend a Toyota Prius but it appears that you are looking more into the minivan/SUV again. Good luck.
