I thought of Brian today, as I spent half of my day in the ER with Doug. He has kidney stones. Yikes! If my memory is correct, I think Brian had those too not too long ago. Doug will be fine although he still feels awful right now. Thank goodness for pain medicine!

I hope he gets better soon. I've never had kidney or gall stones, but I hear they are very painful!
Yikes! I fear those...although I have never had them, I too have been told that they are very painful....wasn't it Jeannie that had them? Tell Doub we wish him to get better very quickly! T
I am very sorry to hear that. We will pray for his fast recovery. I hope that he will get better soon.

I don't know who Doub is but tell Doug we feel for him. Jeanne and I have both passed a kidney stone. I passed mine over 10 years ago but Jeanne suffered from one last November. It happened while I was away on a trip and she had the priesthood give come give her a blessing at the hospital at 11:00 p.m. Those stones will literally bring you to your knees in seering pain and anguish.
Well Brian "give come give" isn't a typing improvement over Doub....at least mine is a one letter typo....you added a whole other word! How do you typo in a complete word?! It looks like our typing skills can also bring us to our knees in seering pain and anguish!
Ok, Weeky and Brain, it's 'searing pain' not 'seering pain.'

Well, I don't want to brag... but I will. I've had kidney stones twice, yes, twice and both times I was pregnant! My advice to everyone, drink plenty of water.
You are right Fabienne, I remember you having them also. Good advice.
Alan, it doesn't underline my misspelled words in red.
OK, since we're sitting around like a bunch of old folks chatting about our ailments, I too have had kidney stones. Once. It was pain as I had never known it before or since. I wish it on no one. The problem is, once you have had them, you have a 50% chance of another occurrence (or occurrences). They are not remotely fatal I understand, but are very painful.
My best to Doug. Once mine passed, I felt as good as new instantly. I wish the same for Doug.
