I've been thinking long and hard about the favoritism we show to 00 numbers. Why is 100, 200, or 300 more special than 299, or 301? I think those numbers have gotten the raw end of the deal. Nobody remembers them after they're gone, but 100, 200, 300 and so on get written down in history as some wonderful event. Let's say a person dies at 99 years and 363 days old. Many would say "if only s/he had lived two more days s/he could have been 100!" Oh the humanity! Why can't 99 have some glory? But no! It must be 100!

Congratulations Kim on your 300th post! How do you keep count?
It is written on the left side of the blog page how many posts have been done by year and month.
