Peanut butter....a no-brainer

This is an incredible piece of information and a no-brainer easy thing to do.

"In a new study researches found that consuming one table spoon or 28 grahms of peanuts or other nuts 5 or more times a week is associated with 20 to 30 percent reduced risk of developing Type II Diabetes."

I love peanut butter on my toast every morning...so that is a no-brainer for me. Enjoy your peanut butter, at least 5 table spoonfuls worth a week!

Cinnamon helps balance your blood sugar levels, so it is also good for preventing diabetes.

I didn't know that! If I have cinnamon though...I have to have it with sugar....does that make a difference?

Good idea, but boy is PB caloric! In fact most nuts are caloric but healthy otherwise.

There is always a trade off isn't there. I can walk off calories though....perhaps in my case the calories will be worth the benefit to help fight off the disease.
