Yee haa! Double six-shooters at the draw, SP is goin' rougue! Her book, imminently to be a success in right wing shoot-em-up circles, is already on sale at Walmart for $8.99 (at least accordin' to KO -- Keith Olbermann for you neophytes). This woman has more screws loose than a 2009 GM automobile! Suddenly a writer again, SP claims that she wants to get back to her writin' roots. Even John McCain and former staff are scratching their heads. Heaven help us! Palin-Huckabee 2012!

I hope she doesn't run in 2012! Why would she want to put her self up to such scrutiny again! Didn't she get beat up in the media enough already? No...I would not vote for her. I am very disappointed in her for not finishing her term as governor and I beleive it is because she wanted to capitalize on the moment to write a book and give speeches and earn a bunch of money. I don't buy and read politicians books any way...so the fact that she wrote a book means nothing to me.
I was going to post something about Palin, but you beat me to the punch. I use to think that Palin had no chance at the nomination, but the more the left beats up on her, the more I think she just might have a slim chance. Why do liberals beat up on her more than all other conservatives combined? Because they fear her. They fear what she could become. She is a threat to their fragile sensibilities and their ardent belief in amoralism. She is middle America and she acts, talks, and lives like the majority of middle America, which is the very group that the liberal establishment in Washington and the media look down on. The prospect of a hayseed hick from Wazilla sitting in the Oval Office is galling to them. George Bush was bad enough, but Sarah Palin? It's worse than galling, it's blasphemy against all that is liberal and it cannot be permitted. Hence the full-scale assault on her.
Oh, and I won't be buying her book. I don't like to read books written for the purpose getting elected. It seems like a new requirement for high political office, and I don't care for it.
She is good looking though.
Honestly, I don't believe that she'll ever get elected as President. What she should tryto do is get elected as a Senator from Alaska, learn the ropes, and take her background along with experience on a Presidential run later. I am still a firm believer that Mitt ought to run again. What would leberals do with Mitt as President, Palin as VP, Rush as Secretary of State running around the world spewing his "EIG" (Excellence in Government)? Mitt might get things done, Palin would look pretty, and Rush would get those who don't already hate us to hate us.
I wouldn't say I am a most ardent fan of SP but I certainly don't have an ax to grind with her that so many seem to have.
If how she was photographed while moving her hands looks like a six shooter and that is the the most that irks the left then I am sure she can handle that.
Precisely! Like it or not, politics has become via editorial cartoons, late night hosts, and politicians own gaffes a spectator 'sport'.
I don't subscribe to Alan's theory. Both sides love to have those that they can demonize, target, and benefit from; it is not a matter of fear. That's why I wrote Palin/Huckster 2012! Bring it on. Libs of all stripes would love to see her against President Obama. Mitt is who I fear and the dude from Minnesota are the ones I worry about.
By the way, my 'fragile sensibilities' are less fragile that your 'fragile conservative sensibilites'!
Amoralism? Nah, that is conservative talk for what we call humanisitc morals, strong morals that are freed from the confining strictures of religious dogma.
I am not saying that liberals fear Palin in an election. I think they would relish such an opponent. I am saying that they fear her in what she could do were she to get elected.
Well, that's for sure!
How about a Romney/Schwarzenegar ticket? It would be the Brains/Brawn ticket! IF they get elected, in 2016 they can use the slogan "We'll be back!"
The Romney/Pawlenty or Pawlenty/Romney ticket would be the Republican's strongest ticket.
