Church donation page
This is the link for the churches website to donate money to the welfare system to help get money to Haiti. I do not see a way to specifically ask that our donation go to that specific effort, but I can imagine that with an influx of donations, a good part of it will go to the Haiti earthquake victims. Has anyone heard what the church is currently doing to help with the effort? I am sure they are helping...but since they rarely toot their horn about their efforts or donations, I don't know but would be interested in hearing about their efforts. My prayers are with the people of Haiti. I wish I knew what more I could do.

I'll bet the church does a lot.
Our school is putting together an effort that will involve our French Club and a variety of efforts.
Many organizations have resources, but the main problem now is getting the resources there. I airport is not fully functional. I am afraid many will die because of the poor infrastructure, which is now destroyed almost entirely.
I am sure you know that can make a Humanitarian contribution on your tithing slip.
You can look on the churches website and they have information but you can also look at KSL 5 website and they have reports on what the church is doing.
We were asked late last night to come to the Bishop's Store house this afternoon to help load relief trucks for the Haiti situation. They had requested 100 volunteers from the surrounding stake. We were contacted while enroute and told not to come because over 300 people showed up and the job was already done.
That's all good to hear.
