ABC news reports that the Obama administration will spend $18 million dollars on a website that is to show us how the stimulus money is being spent. I am happy about the website, but $18 million dollars? You could probably buy 1,800 top-of-the-line websites for that amount. Why is it that government has no clue how much things actually cost in the real world? It is bureaucracy at its worst and incompetence at its best.

If that is really true....that is infuriating. What a waste of money.
Better plan...give me the $18 Million and I'll hire out 10 top line website developers at $200,000/yr a piece ($2 Million), 10 top financial researchers at $400,000 a piece ($4 Million), and I'll spend the remaining $12 million thereby boosting the slumping economy! AND, I'm sure we'll get a better product and result from the money spent!
Give me the 18 million and bag the website....no one is going to read it anyway.
That is terrible! M
Give me the money and I'll spend it all on a foundation for homeless children.
18 million for a website? I don't even know how one could spend that much. Some journalist ought to investigate...
