The End of Huckabee

Today marks the end of Huckabee as a viable Presidential candidate. The alleged murderer of four police officers in Washington State was the same man whose sentence then-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee commuted and granted clemency nine years ago. This happened to Michael Dukakis (who also commuted a sentence and the perpetrator killed again) and although this was not the sole reason, he was wiped out in the election. I am sorry about the murders, but I am not sorry that Huckabee is no longer viable.

What an awful event...both for Huckabee and the policmen and their families.

I agree. As soon as I found out today that he pardoned this jerk, I knew he was finished. It will be interesting if he keeps his Fox show "Huckabee". I think he should be dropped. This pardoning thing came up in the race last year but never really went anywhere. Now it will end his career as a politician. I didn't care for him anyway.

Wow. This is the first I have heard of it. This must certainly be the end of his political career. Wow. What a strange circumstance.

The Republican Party will be better off without him in any spotlight.
