I just want to everyone to know that although I disagree with most everything Mr. Obama stands for, I will admit when he does the right thing.
I just read that he has donated his entire $1.4 million prize money from being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to various charities. I will not list them all but I was glad to see that he did not keep the money for an award that I do not believe he earned...yet.
Bravo. I applaud the action Mr. President.

When he won the money I said...he better not keep it...he should donate it to charities. It looks like he did the right thing. Good for Pres. Obama.
Did he give it away because he is charitable? Or did he give it away because it was politically expedient for him to do so? I guess that is not for us to judge, so I applaud him for his action and for helping me give thought to the ultimate reason why I give to charity.
