Wortham, TX
I recently flew with a married couple who are flight atttendants for Delta who are from Wortham, TX. They said it is a nice little town but not much to do there at all. I have always wanted to go visit but have never taken the time to do so. Has anyone passed through this center of human activity and thriving metropolis?

Never been there but I have visited the school districts website just see what the high school mascot is...just out of curiosity. They are the Bulldogs. And it is a podunk town.
Nope, not me. I have however, driven by a neighborhodd of homes near Houston which is called Wortham.
Wortham Texas. Yes, I have passed though there. Ganae and I drove through there when we were being transferred from one training base to another. Doug and Kim were in the car with us, but they were too young to even know what we were doing or talking about. I do remember that it was a very small town, and that it had a tall water tower in the middle of town, with Wortham painted on it in large capitol letters. If I remember correctly, we did buy some gas there and talked a minute with the station attendant, but that is about all I remember. I might add that I have also passed though the town of Wilbur Washington. Now you have heard all I know about the towns that can claim MY FAME AND NAME!
Dad I presume you have also been through Raleigh, NC. Is this true as well? How about some city called Junior?
Sandy and I have driven thru Wortham TX. It is a small town with a water tower providing water to it's residents. I don't recall for sure but I think it had one stop light. I would hate to get stuck there for more than a hour or two.
