Now I officially don't care for this man and his politics......and yes, I know he is a member of our church.
"The Capitol Visitors Center, which opened this morning, may have tripled its original budget and fallen years behind schedule, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid found a silver lining for members of Congress: tourists won't offend them with their B.O. anymore."My staff tells me not to say this, but I'm going to say it anyway," said Reid in his remarks. "In the summer because of the heat and high humidity, you could literally smell the tourists coming into the Capitol. It may be descriptive but it's true."But it's no longer going to be true, noted Reid, thanks to the air conditioned, indoor space. And that's not all. "We have many bathrooms here, as you can see," Reid continued. "Souvenirs are available." $621 million well spent."

I was considering a post on this very topic. You took the words out of my mouth. Harry Reid is not a very skilled politician, and I often question his intelligence. He always seems to be competing with Barbara Boxer for airhead of the week. Mitch McConnell runs parliamentary rings around Reid, and it is both humorous and embarrassing to watch.
I know it may sound harsh but I understand what he is saying. When I was in Hawaii, a huge share of the tourists stunk of B.O. so badly it hurt to breathe. Sorry but thats the way it was.
Kim and Harry Reid are right, I am sure, but a politician should not be so blunt. It hurts his already poor image.
I agree, we had that problem in Kenya. No one used deoderant ever...well accept for us. But I agree with Alan, a politician doesn't do himself anygood saying what he said.
You are all right. Politicians should be alot more "proper".
I guess I will quit coming to Washington and Hawaii. I hate it when people talk behind my back!
