Family Reunion

When is it so that we can see about asking off work? Where is it at and doesn't anyone need to start planning it?

Dad has said that it will be the last week-end in June. He wants to have it at Eden, Utah at the WorldMark resort but has to wait until the 27 March to make the reservation.

Where is Eden?

Eden is around Odgen, Utah

I thought it was in Missouri.

I hope not the last weekend in June because Shawn in signed up for EFY that week. He will be gone from the 29th-5 July.

Oh well, can't get everyone there.

Dallan is going to EFY from the 22-29 June.

I'm in favor of mid July because I think it would be easier for me to get all of my kids there including Becky but we'll do whatever. We understand that not everyone will be able to attend no matter what date you select.

We don't have plans for the summer and probably will not travel anywhere...except to Eden.

Let me explain why I choose that date. We have been saving our points with Worldmark in order to have a reunion. We Need to use 9,000 points before the end of June 2009 or we will lose them! Also during the month of June we will be able to borrow 9,000 points from next year. We wanted to have enough to have beds for as many as will come. We suspected the end of June would give enough time for all schools to be finished, and also the weather to be warmer. Even with that, we might not be able to request enough rooms, since we cannot order less than full weeks until 90 days before the first reservation date. We wanted to have three days and two nights at the resort. We will keep you informed as time gets closer.
Love, Dad

I say just pick a date and go with it. Those who can attend will. Last week of June or first week of July doesn't work for my family but may for others. With a family our size there is no perfect date.

A party is just not a party without Brian there!
