I can't help but wonder how in the heck does a country like ours produce such idiots as this lady? Santa Cruz has an "open mic" at the city council after it conducts its business and this stupid lady shows up. Really, what vegetable grows on a tree? Also, does the east coast really have slaves and still believe in slavery while the west coast is a union? Oh well, we can build "stuff" and then sell "stuff". How do we produce these people?

First of all, in defense of this lady, some people are just not very good at public speaking, and not unlike some of our politicians, they drone on and on about things they don't know anything about.
However, I there are certain people on both the left and the right that are painfully uninformed, and, if they vote, their votes are uninformed votes. Conservative voters are often accused of being stupid, hayseed, Jesus-worshippin' rednecks, most probably because there are actually a few of them around. Liberals voters are often accused of being bearded peaceniks who wear sandals and never take a shower, most probably because there are a few of them around.
Well, not everyone has full mental capacity.
But, the wonderful thing is that in our country even this woman has a podium from time to time.
That is a wonderful thing!
Naa, she's just an idiot. :) Some things in this world are just what they appear to be.
But like Doug said, even she gets a podium in our country.
I was like thinking that if the land is free, this is a free land ya know, and like the popcycles are in bloom this time of year then slaves ought to get paid a free wage and maybe the silkworms can make silk dresses without the harrassment of the unionist goverment.

Retraction...I owe this lady and apology. I incorrectly quoted her as saying we could build "stuff" and sell the "stuff" in the stores. What she really said was we could build "things" and sell "things" in the stores.
