Well Done, Bill

Just wanted to throw out an "Atta boy, Bill" and give credit where credit is due. Any time we can get US citizens out of a bad situation like what those reporter ladies were in is a good thing. I don't see that we gave up anything and yet we saved two women from 12 years of hard labor in North Korea. So good job on this issue Bill.

I agree. I just don't want to see the two returned and given some kind of special "hero" staus. They did after all, break the law and entered North Korea illegally. Its great that they are coming home but hopefully it will be down played as just a simple welcome home.

I feel the same as Brian and Kim, except that we don't know what was actually conceded to the North Koreans. When B. Clinton arrived, everything seems to have been arranged in advance.

Yeah, after my post I got to thinking...even if nothing was conceded Kim Jong Il at least got a photo op with a former US President.

Don't know for a fact but I heard Bill apologized on behalf of Pres. Obama. If so he should have apologized on behalf of the two ladies who did indeed break the law. Still, I am glad they are back and out of N. Korean hands.

I agree, the entire world knows what N. Korea is about. The transparency of their actions and ploys have rendered them ridiculous.

I figure that nothing was conceded, N. Korea 'pardoned' the two and shared the stage with an ex-president of the US...they are foolish enough to think that they have impressed somehow someone.
