Ok....is anyone else bothered by STUPID POLLS? I found the following article at:
http://news.yahoo.com/page/election-2008-political-pulse-teacher It said:
"If this election were about which candidate people wanted as their child's schoolteacher, Barack Obama would be moving to the head of the class. They'd also rather watch a football game with him, but only by inches."
Why do they bother taking polls like these when reality dictates that we will never vote on a Presidential candidate for these things. Let's take a poll on who thinks these kinds of polls are stupid! I vote YES, for stupid!

Polls are used to create news. That's why news organizations have more polls than any other organization. Take poll and presto! Instant news!
I agree with both of you. I remember when George Bush was trumpeted by a poll in which the polled declared that he would be a better dude to share beers with. That seemed to mean something to the southern white bubbas. Charming.
The only poll that ultimately counts is the actual voting booth.
