Dear children,
This week has been challenging for Dad but he enjoyed it. He went to Liege, Belgium and Mouscron, Belgium several times to prepare the apartments for the new couples. If you don’t know, Liege is by the German border and Mouscron is at the French border. He had the help of 3 Elders that took the train from Leeuwarden, Netherlands to do all the cleanings. Dad said that they really worked hard. When Dad came through Brussels, we went to Chinese restaurant with them. The Chinese restaurant is next door to the office and one of the lunch menus is very reasonable.
Once more, I have talked to our Mission President about attending Christine’s wedding in December. He said that he would have let us go if it would have been in February but that not being the case… I did not ask what he reasoning was. We thought that he would let us go and come back but we were wrong. I really want to attend our grandchildren’s wedding but it is not possible this time.
I saw the doctor about my thumb problem. (I messed it up opening a large box of supplies at the office) She said that it is the ligament or the tendon. I would think that it is the tendon. I should keep it in a sling. It is not a big deal but it is an inconvenient.
We would like to hear about Phillip’s soon to be born baby. We have written but we wonder if he has a new email address.
We love to hear about our missionaries grandsons.
Tomorrow, we are invited at my sister Josiane and Monique should be there too. Claudine is still in Tunisia.
Give us some news about your family.
I love you and really care.
Mom
HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO YOU ALL.
