Shawn Bradley Fireside
Dallan and I went to a fireside tonight where Shawn Bradley spoke. If you do not know who he is just do a google search on him. He was a BYU basketball player that was drafted by the Phil. 76ers and then played for NJ Nets and Dallas Mavericks for 10 years. Retired after 12 years in NBA. The guy is 7'6" and measures every bit of it. Dallan took some pictures of him and Shawn together. Dallan came to his belly button.

Cool. We lived in Dallas when he played there. We did get to see him play a few times. We always cheered him on. Now that he is retired, what is he doing?

He is working at a home for troubled youth who get into trouble due to their troubled past. Troubling isn't it. He is the Assistant Principal so to speak.
That must have been a huge cut in salary! But good for him. He could be a wonderful influence on the kids.
