I have decided to reduce my political postings on this page. It appears to be a turnoff for some.
Although this blog was started with the intention of avoiding email tit-for-tats, I think it should be used for a wider variety of discussions, family news, announcements, etc.
I have resurrected my own blog space and I will be posting my political stuff there (click on "there" for those of you with less Internet experience). I will open it up to comments so you can comment as usual, but you won't be able to post. It is my blog space after all.
I would encourage each of you to make your own web page. It is very easy to do and it's free!
Go to igoogle and find Blogger in the Google Services. Just follow the instructions.
Lastly, some of us used to communicate via Yahoo! messenger. YM had problems and I am now on Skype. If you use Skype, my contact name is alanwortham. You can type it in or do a search to add me as a contact. I am online most of the day (because I work at my desk).

Hmmmm. I liked this set up for both political and other familial digs, like looking for an apple sause recipie. I am sorry that you won't post here any more. I am not likely to go to your other blog...I don't have time to check lots of blogs, and I am only likely to participate in a blog in this setting, so....I wish you wouldn't go away!

I have visited your webpage but I can't seem to leave a comment. Google Accounts does not recognize my Google Account password that I use for both the Wortham Family Blog and my own Google Calendar.
Suggestions? Do I need a special password to leave a comment on your website? (I know that I can't post).
